pSMART vectors are supplied pre-digested, with blunt, dephosphorylated ends, and are qualified to produce 99.5% recombinant clones in typical experiments.

Kits with cells also include a choice of E. cloni cells with Recovery Medium and Positive Transformation Control

Electrocompetent ELITE 10G or 10GF’ (> 2 x 1010 cfu/µg)  or 10G SUPREME (> 4 x 1010 cfu/µg)

Chemically Competent 10G (> 1 x 109 cfu/µg) or 10GF’ (>5 x 108 cfu/µg)

Kits without cells can be used with any E. coli chemically competent or electrocompetent cells.
Cells in the DUO format contain 2 transformations per vial; the SOLO format is 1 transformation per vial.
